We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Avionics (AVS) UK team in Crawley, West Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage all project activities from bid to contract fulfillment, employing best practices.
• Report project progress to senior management.
• Lead and establish a high-performing project team.
• Manage project elements: scope, quality, procurement, schedule, finance, risks, and communications.
• Improve project budgets and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and legal export requirements.
• Develop and review programme plans and estimates.
• Draft work packages, maintain risk registers, and produce project metrics.
• Manage stakeholder requirements and support bid processes.
• Coordinate with support functions to achieve project objectives.
• Support change initiatives within the project environment.
• Demonstrate alignment with Thales' core values and ethics policy.

About you:

• Proven experience in project/program management with comprehensive understanding of project management areas.
• Customer-focused with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Understanding support models and Through Life Support activities.
• Strong risk management skills.
• Engineering familiarity with software, hardware, and systems engineering.
• Commercial awareness with experience in contract negotiations.
• Hands-on experience in project control, financial reporting, budgeting, and quality management.
