RS Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead IS&T supply chain technology projects within a global delivery footprint. You will shape, plan and deliver initiatives across warehouse management, ERP integration, and middleware, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

This permanent, remote role offers flexibility to work virtually from anywhere in the UK and requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement and hands-on delivery leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define, document and complete supply chain technology projects from initiation to closure.

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across supply chain and IT teams.
• Manage project resources, costs and ensure forecasts and risks are controlled.
• Lead project teams and ensure alignment to objectives and timely reporting.
• Act as liaison between customer and supplier organisations for clear communication.
• Evaluate options in line with RS Group strategies and business outcomes.

The Opportunity

To provide project management leadership across IS&T supply chain delivery, ensuring technology projects are shaped, planned and delivered to agreed scope, time, cost,qualityand business outcomes. The role will manage supply chain technology and process change from initiation through to implementation, operationaltransitionand closure, working closely with supply chain stakeholders, technology teams,suppliersand third-party delivery partners.

• The role will sit within IS&T Technology Delivery / Global Delivery and support supply chain technology change across RS Group.
• This is a permanent Project Manager role focused on supply chain delivery, enterprise-grade technology implementations, supplier-ledchangeand operational process improvement.
• The role may support initiatives across warehouse management, order management, transport management, conveyor control, ERP integration, middleware, sitemigrationsand supplier-led delivery.
• The role requires a delivery-focused Project Manager who can bring structure, clarity and control across business and technology workstreams, whilemaintainingstakeholder confidence and delivery pace.
• Travel to RS locations and supplier meetings may berequiredwheresite engagement, migrations,workshopsor operational readiness activity needs in-person support.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take responsibility for the definition,documentationand successful completion of supply chain technology projects from initiation through to closure.
• Develop andmaintaindetailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, assumptions, resource needs, budgets,risksand quality plans.
• Use Planview and agreed governance tools tomaintainaccurateplans, RAID logs, status reporting, forecasts, projectartefactsand decision records.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across supply chain operations, IS&T, architecture, SAP/ERP, integration, data, warehouse/siteteamsand third-party suppliers.
• Manage project resources, revenuecostsand capital costs against agreed project budgets, ensuring project forecastsremainaccurateand risks are escalated early.
• Ensureappropriate changecontrol is in place and used to assess impacts on cost, timescale, scope,qualityand resource needs.
• Lead one or more project teams, allocating and monitoring tasks, supporting delivery performance and keeping teams aligned to project objectives.
• Act as the liaison between customer and supplierorganisations, enabling clear and efficient communication across project phases.
• Evaluate and make recommendations on technical or delivery options in line with RS Group technology strategies, operationalneedsand business outcomes.

Ensure projects are formally closed,reviewedand transitioned into BAU, capturing lessons learned and improvement actions.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven project management experience delivering supply chain,logistics, warehouse, fulfilment,distributionor enterprise technology projects.
• Experience managing third-party, public-facingor enterprise-grade technology implementations across multiple locations.
• Good understanding of supply chain technology environments, including Warehouse Management Systems, Order Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Conveyor Control Systems and ERP integration.
• Strong project governance capability, including planning, RAID management, dependency management, budget tracking, change control,reportingand project closure discipline.
• Experience working with suppliers, systems integrators, managed serviceprovidersor technology partners, acting as the link between business and supplierorganisations.
• Ability to coordinate business, technology, site,supplierand senior stakeholder groups through all phases of project delivery.
• Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business language.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the bigger picture and get things done in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, assign andmonitorwork activities, meetdeadlinesand producetimelyproject reporting.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Planview, Jira, Confluence,Teamsand Microsoft Office.
