A UK university is seeking a part-time Project Manager for a four-year research project. The role involves leading project planning, engaging with stakeholders, and managing financial tasks. The position offers a salary between £25,857 and £30,429 annually, with flexible working arrangements in central London.
This project is funded by the Wellcome Trust: 'Contragestive Time: Pregnant Uncertainties in Fertility Control'. Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Project Manager to join the School of Social Sciences on a four year contract this Autumn. The role is part‑time (17.5 hours a week) with a salary of £25,857 rising to £30,429 per year.
Location: hybrid or remote working, with occasional travel to support meetings at university campuses in Sussex, Bristol and Manchester, and to support public engagement events around the UK.
Fixed-term, over four years (52 months) from January 2026 to April 2030. 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week). Actual salary £25,857 rising to £30,429 per annum (pro‑rated £51,713 to £60,858 per annum for 1.0 FTE). Grade 8 on the College’s London Pay Scale, including a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.
