Project Manager – Strategic Simplification Programme - London Market Insurance

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead key projects within a major Simplification Programme at the heart of our clients Change Function. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming and simplifying core business processes across this global broking powerhouse.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery—from pre-inception and business case creation through to execution, closure, and benefits realisation—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver large-scale, strategic business projects and programmes across ASL.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles: inception, planning, delivery, closure.
  • Provide leadership across multiple workstreams or stages within larger programmes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams, chair key meetings, and ensure alignment to project goals.
  • Maintain project documentation including PIDs, RAID logs, detailed plans, change controls.
  • Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver comprehensive status reports and Steering Committee packs.
  • Ensure appropriate governance is in place, adhering to ASL’s frameworks and best practices.
  • Support financial and resource management for your assigned projects.
  • Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience:

  • London Market or insurance sector experience a MUST
