A leading educational institution in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their Property & Facilities team. The role involves managing property and sustainability projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a formal project management qualification and excellent knowledge of relevant regulations. This position offers a salary of £46,049 to £58,225 per annum, along with great benefits including a pension and extensive holiday.

About the role
This is a pivotal role within our Property Development function, where you'll work with stakeholders across the University to support our strategic goals, including achieving Net Zero and enhancing our learning and working environments. Whether it’s a new build or a targeted upgrade, your project leadership will contribute to a campus that inspires and supports our students, staff, and wider community.
As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on the planning, procurement, and delivery of capital, refurbishment, maintenance, and environmental sustainability projects across our campuses. From inception to completion, you will be responsible for ensuring that each project meets the highest standards in safety, sustainability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
What you’ll do
In addition, undertake other duties as may reasonably be required by the Head of Property Development.
What We’re Looking For
Experience within the higher education sector and membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, RICS, ICE etc.) would be beneficial.
