Job description

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  1. Ensure all work within the contract under your control is carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare, and environmental regulations, while working to maximize the profitability of the contract and ensuring satisfaction of contractual requirements.
  2. Ensure compliance with the client’s authorization requirements and specifications, along with the company standards of service and quality systems.
  3. Control documentation, working closely with the back-office support team.
  4. Ensure that the health and safety competence of subcontractor organizations and direct labor are assessed prior to commencing work.
  5. Assess the risks associated with operations and ensure that the correct site-specific method statements and risk assessments are prepared in advance of work.
  6. Monitor the commercial aspects of the contract to ensure delivery for clients while maintaining profitability.
  7. Manage all resources, including labor, materials, and plant.
  8. Take pride in delivery and aim for repeat business as a measure of success.
  9. Promote safety and competence, including training requirements, and encourage continuous improvement in all teams.
  10. Manage and motivate a team, delegating appropriately but leading by example.
  11. Develop team members systematically to enhance their skills and contributions.
