Job summary

SiXworks is seeking a Project Manager to lead agile projects in a defence and national security environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to deliver complex, secure digital solutions.

The role emphasizes forecasting, change/risk management, and reporting through dashboards and slides. UK defence and security experience is advantageous; occasional visits to Herefordshire may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as APMP, Prince2, Agile Certification are desirable.
• Strong project management, risk management, and procurement management skills.

What You’ll Do

As aProject Manager,you’ll play a crucial role in managing agile projects using an iterative approach to delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Yourworkmayinclude:

• Project management- The ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including forecasting, change management and risk management.
• Ability to operate in highly complex delivery and commercial environments. Managing delivery fluidity in strict commercial models.
• Oversee deliverables from cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources.
• Foster open communication across teams to identify cross-team development dependencies and risks early on.
• Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a sound understanding of structured and agile methodologies and applying them in separate situations (e.g. APMP, MSP, Jira, Tempo, Scrum).
• Problem solving- The ability to identify problems collaboratively and develop actions/solutions, communicating both to key stakeholders and presenting information through reports, dashboards and slides as appropriate.
• Commercial awareness- Providing contract management, supplier management and cross organisations dependencies.
