Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Project Manager to oversee a circa £25m new build school project in Essex, due to commence on site and complete Jan 2028. The role requires a civil engineering, trades, or construction management background and experience with similar schemes.

You will lead on-site labour and subcontractors, manage the programme, and work in a busy, pressurised environment. This temp-to-perm role is for at least 12 months or until project completion.

Qualifications

• Background from civil engineering, trades or construction management.
• Proven experience delivering projects of similar scale.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Project Manager - New Build School - Essex

A Project Manager is required to oversee a circa £25m new build school project in Essex. The scheme is just about to commence on site and will be due for completion in January 2028.

Candidates ideally will come from a civil engineering, trades or construction management background and have managed on projects of a similar calibre to this.

The successful Project Manager will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressurised environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines. This is a temp to perm role for a minimum of 12 months or until the completion of the project.

Role/duties:

• Ensure smooth construction process including
• Managing of all site labour and sub-contractors
• Management of the programme & minimising/eliminating potential programme delays

Relevant qualification and tickets - CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid.
