A leading company in the life sciences sector seeks an Interim Lead Technology Consultant to manage IT resources and project activities across laboratories and R&D facilities in North London. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in IT or Engineering with senior management experience in related fields, offering a competitive daily rate.

North London – 10month + contract -£700 / £900 per day
Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a global leader across the science and technology space to source an Interim Lead Technology Consultant to deliver IT Resources & Project Management across a critical Life Sciences site consisting of Laboratories, Chemical Manufacturing and R&D plant.
Reporting to the UK Operations Director, the Lead Technology Consultant will provide an effective liaison between the Engineering & Production Logistics Project team and the IT Steering Committee and the information technology department, as well as external vendors providing IT related services.
Main Responsibilities:
Organise, Track, Coordinate, and Report on IT project activity, progress and resources assigned to key program/projects.
Facilitate resource planning process and lead resource allocation and planning meetings.
Ensure that projects are documented to a high standard, communicated and agreed upon with key stakeholders.
Recommend and lead efforts to streamline the IT PMO processes and establish best practices.
About you:
You will ideally have a PhD in IT, Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
You will have experience with technology evaluation, deployment and project management.
You will ideally have senior level management experience in Chemical and/or Materials industry, preferably with experience in Technical Development as well as managing Implementation of Chemical or Materials R&D Projects within these disciplines.
