They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and operational readiness of major data centre projects.

The Opportunity

As the Project Manager, you will lead quality and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and pre-construction through to testing, handover and operational readiness.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with design teams, contractors, vendors, operations teams and other stakeholders to ensure critical systems are designed, installed, tested and commissioned to the required quality, safety and performance standards.

You'll have the opportunity to provide technical leadership, share your knowledge with others and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and commissioning processes across a portfolio of complex and technically challenging projects.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and manage quality and commissioning activities across data centre construction projects.
  • Oversee the testing, verification and validation of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical and IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure quality and commissioning requirements are incorporated throughout the design, construction and project delivery process.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules and protocols.
  • Coordinate closely with design and construction teams to integrate commissioning requirements into project workflows.

  • Provide regular progress updates and clear communication to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety requirements and performance expectations.
  • Prepare commissioning reports and support the effective handover of systems to operational teams.
  • Help ensure operational teams receive the appropriate information, training and support ahead of project handover.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on quality and commissioning activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the way quality, installation, start-up and commissioning activities are delivered.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with experience in commissioning, construction management, automation systems or a related technical environment who enjoys working collaboratively and helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes.

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in commissioning, construction management, automation systems or a related industry.

  • An understanding of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical and/or IT systems.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and external suppliers.
  • Experience developing or working with commissioning plans, schedules, testing procedures and project documentation.
  • A strong understanding of quality, safety and performance requirements.
Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex and business-critical infrastructure projects while having a genuine impact on how they are delivered.

You'll work alongside a collaborative team, contribute to the development of best practices and play an important role in ensuring critical systems are safe, reliable and ready for operation.

We recognise that people don't always apply for a role unless they meet every requirement listed. If you're excited about this opportunity and believe your skills and experience could bring value to the team, we'd encourage you to apply — even if you don't tick every box.

We are committed to creating an inclusive working environment where different perspectives, experiences and ideas are valued, and where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and grow.
