Job description

BCS Connect is currently working with a large civil engineering client who is looking for an experienced Project Manager.

You will be responsible for covering the Cambridge and Peterborough area, managing Waterways and Flood Defence Schemes, Navigation Structures, and Highways Schemes.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with experience working with Main Contractors.

Duties Include:

• Management of site staff, operatives, and sub-contractors
• Providing method statements, hazard risk assessments, and Project Management plans
• Preparing and monitoring programmes of work
• Fostering good relations and reputation with clients
• Managing contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion

Requirements:

• Experience in managing Waterways, Flood Defence/Structures, and Highways/Road schemes
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to manage change and delegate instructions
• Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng), up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS Card

Salary & Package:

• £50,000 - £55,000
