Develop and manage detailed project programmes, timelines, and site setup plans, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across all phases.
Obtain all necessary planning permissions, statutory permits, and building regulation approvals prior to and during construction.
Partner with the Quantity Surveyor to oversee the project budget, maintaining tight financial control from start to finish.
Adopt current and emerging industry software to streamline project delivery, progress tracking, and team collaboration.
Oversee procurement for materials and plant, negotiating with and managing subcontractors to secure best value and ensure smooth site operations.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the site team, supporting their professional development and managing performance constructively when required.
Coordinate effectively with clients, design teams, and key stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned through clear, consistent updates and formal reporting.
Spot potential project risks early, putting robust mitigation plans in place and managing scope changes through the correct contract procedures.
Champion a strong safety culture on site, conducting regular inspections to ensure all works meet strict health, safety, and quality standards.
Administer contracts diligently, resolve disputes professionally, and manage final inspections to ensure a seamless client handover.
You will be need to be an excellent communicator, with a track record for successfully delivering projects over £5m on time, to a high quality and promoting excellent standards of Health and Safety.
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
CSCS Card, SMSTS
ASTA PowerProject software use and Procore software use would be advantageous
