Project Manager (Submarines) | Defence & Maritime | £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus | Based Bristol

One of the UK's most respected defence consultancies is growing their project delivery team. They need a sharp, delivery-focused Project Manager with real-world experience in Submarines or wider Naval programmes.

The role is high-impact. You'll be the connective tissue between client expectations, delivery schedules, and engineering outputs, managing risk, cost, and communication across the lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Leading complex Submarine projects from concept to closeout.
2. Managing stakeholders across MoD, DE&S, Royal Navy, and Tier 1 suppliers.
3. Creating structured project plans that balance technical rigour and commercial pace.
4. Owning budgets, risk registers, and change control.
5. Driving delivery across matrix teams (engineering, supply chain, commercial, etc.).

What You'll Need

1. Experience delivering within UK Defence, ideally on Submarines, Naval Ships, or Underwater Systems.
2. Solid understanding of Defence procurement routes (DE&S, JSPs, CADMID).
3. Proven stakeholder management skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
4. APM, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a bonus.
5. SC clearance (or eligibility) is essential.
