Are you seeking a rewarding career at the forefront of project development where you can make a significant impact? Join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the UK's most exciting and largest megaprojects, contributing to the nation's climate change agenda and energy policy.

Following the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the Sizewell C Project is a nuclear new build in Suffolk, with planning approval and government support. The project has commenced construction and is seeking private investment. Once completed, it will supply reliable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting the UK's goal of Net Zero by 2050.

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Conventional Islands - Balance of Plant (BOP) delivery programme.

CI/BOP: Manages activities related to engineering contracts up to £100m, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.

The CI-BOP programme includes three sub-programmes: CI, HSK (Heat Sink), and BOP.

As Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Sizewell C supply chain team, Responsible Designer (RD), quality team, and suppliers to prepare for and execute the project delivery, focusing on the BOP area.

The Role

Leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the delivery of systems, structures, and components across multiple contracts within the BOP scope, from engineering to commissioning. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams for seamless delivery.
  • Managing budgets, schedules, risks, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to manage interfaces.
  • Applying technical expertise to uphold standards and compliance.

About You

You are an experienced Project Professional with a successful track record in delivering large, complex projects from conception to completion. You combine technical knowledge with strategic insight and excel in stakeholder engagement and team motivation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems, or civil engineering within large-scale industrial environments.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design and procurement, meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of major project complexities and interface management.
  • Experience across the project lifecycle from concept to handover.
  • Effective communicator with client and contractor engagement skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
