Job description

AtkinsRéalis Project and Program Services are currently recruiting for Project Managers for our Bristol Office to service projects in Bristol and the South-West of England.

Due to continued success in securing projects throughout Bristol and the surrounding regions, we’re looking for exceptional Project Managers, with a strong focus in the Private & Public Sectors, to join our highly successful team in based in Bristol Office.

Our projects range in value from £1m to £50m+ and are with a variety of high-profile clients in the education, commercial, infrastructure and public sector giving our Project Managers a diverse and exciting workload. Your Purpose:

  • Provide high quality project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle.
  • Advise clients on the project cost, programme, risks and issues.
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.
  • Lead communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers etc.
  • Manage change on projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Implement effective and efficient communication tools.

What You Can Bring:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong grasp of best practice project management techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage projects across their full lifecycle, including both pre- and post-contract responsibilities.
  • Experience in education sector projects is a plus, though not essential, as we have a robust pipeline in this area. Skilled in client and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to manage expectations effectively.
  • Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as RICS Chartership, CIOB, or APM. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • High level of professionalism and courtesy, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. Self-motivated and driven, with a commitment to continuous development of technical and behavioural competencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others through sound judgment and insight. Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to a collaborative, vibrant work environment.
  • Commercially aware, with a lateral thinking approach and a passion for delivering exemplary service to clients. This role offers excellent prospects for individuals with a strong ambition to grow and thrive in a dynamic team setting.
