A growing built environment consultancy in Bristol is seeking a proactive Project Manager to deliver a range of exciting schemes across the South West. This is a pivotal opportunity for a Project Manager to join a close-knit team and take the lead on projects from day one. As a Project Manager, you’ll be involved in a variety of commercial, residential, and public sector schemes, working alongside experienced professionals with a reputation for consistent, high-quality delivery.

The Project Manager’s role

The Project Manager will lead multiple projects across the full RIBA lifecycle, working with internal and external teams to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. Responsibilities include contract administration (across various forms), risk management, programming using MS Project, and full project reporting.

You will drive procurement strategies, maintain financial oversight, and support early-stage feasibility and planning. Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management are essential to the role.

The Project Manager
  • Experience managing construction projects within a consultancy setting

  • Degree in Construction, Project Management, or similar

  • Chartered (or progressing) with RICS, APM, or CIOB

  • Strong understanding of RIBA stages 0-6

  • Skilled in contract administration, ideally across NEC and JCT contracts

  • Confident with MS Project and full project reporting

  • Proactive mindset with strong leadership and client-facing skills
