Job summary

Sopra Steria Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and application teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and clear governance reporting.

You will influence multi-disciplinary teams without direct reports, balancing commercial priorities with project outcomes and stakeholder expectations in a UK government–focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining project plans, risk and governance logs.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks and resources.
• Strong stakeholder communications and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments using Jira for progress tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and applications.
• Lead governance and reporting to senior stakeholders and customers.
• Influence and lead teams without direct line management responsibilities while maintaining commercial awareness.

Job description

• Building and maintaining project plans, risk, assurance, issues and dependencies logs, governance documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Working closely with technical teams across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and application environments.
• Managing project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies and resource allocation.
• Facilitating project governance and reporting to senior stakeholders and customers.

• Driving delivery within Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments while using Jira to track progress and support reporting.

  Proven experience delivering complex technical projects across multiple domains.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, governance and delivery methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments, alongside strong Jira experience.
• Ability to influence and lead teams without direct line management responsibility, alongside strong commercial awareness.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience delivering within managed services, technology services or complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, VMware, Cisco, Citrix or desktop technologies.

  Salary: £competitve. Benefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
