Job summary

A leading company in Sussex is hiring two Project Managers for multi-million-pound defence and aerospace engineering projects, one on contract and the other permanent. The successful candidates will own project delivery, embed best practices, and manage stakeholders effectively, contributing significantly to national security and defence.

?Frontier has partnered with a leading defence prime in Sussex (hybrid) and we’re seeking TWO Project Managers (one on contract, one permanent) who excel at delivering complex engineering programmes. If you’ve led multi-million-pound defence or aerospace projects and meet the requirements below, let’s talk.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end delivery of multi-million-pound defence/aerospace engineering projects
• Embed Earned Value Management (EVM) practices throughout project lifecycles
• Define scope, schedule and budgets, with hands-on ownership via MS Project
• Engage and align stakeholders at all levels
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and teams

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record delivering defence or aerospace engineering programmes (≥ £10 million)
• Exceptional communication and people-management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget forecasting, cost control and contract-interface management
