Job summary

IrvinGQ is seeking a permanent Project Manager to own customer projects end-to-end in a highly regulated aerospace environment. You will liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, establish plans, manage budgets, and drive delivery across multiple functions, ensuring quality and on-time results.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in PM/Engineering or equivalent, proven PM experience at scale, and UK eligibility for SC clearance, with strong communication and financial awareness.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven PM experience of comparable complexity, scale, and risk.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, military/defence, or similarly technical regulated environment.
• Strong delivery focus with structured project management approach.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and professional judgement.
• Effective communication with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial and financial awareness; ISO 9001 understanding.
• Valid Passport and UK Driving Licence; SC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects meeting agreed time, cost, quality, and scope objectives.
• Act as primary interface with customers and key internal stakeholders.
• Establish project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery baselines.
• Report progress, risks, issues, financials, and quality metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Operations.
• Manage project change through formal change control processes.
• Support bid and proposal activities with realistic plans and costs.
• Lead and develop assigned project team members.

What we're looking for
