Job summary

Job description

The BradfordCare Alliance (BCA) is a Community Interest general practice membershiporganisation founded on partnership working and accountable to our members. TheCIC encompasses most practices across Bradford City and Districts ICB, witharrangements in place to work with non-members. The Board is composed of 4elected and co-opted Directors, with amix of clinicians and practice/business managers.

Main duties of the job

The ProjectManager will be responsible for leading and supporting the planning,coordination, and implementation of projects within BCA. The role will ensureprojects are delivered effectively, within scope, budget, and timeframes, whilemaintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the ManagingDirector, the postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams, memberpractices, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.

Job responsibilities

- Support andmanage the development, implementation, and evaluation of BCA projects,ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

- Develop andmaintain project plans, ensuring clear milestones, deliverables, and riskmanagement strategies are in place.

- Engage withkey stakeholders, including BCA members, healthcare providers, and externalpartners, to ensure collaborative project delivery.

- Assist inthe development of business cases and funding proposals for new initiatives.

- Monitor andreport on project progress, risks, and outcomes to the BCA Board and otherrelevant committees.

- Coordinateand oversee project governance, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures,and regulatory requirements.

- Work closelywith the operational teams to transition project outcomes into sustainable,long-term services.

- Maintaincomprehensive project documentation, including reports, minutes, and actionlogs.

- Supportprocurement and supplier management activities related to projects.

- Facilitateproject-related meetings, workshops, and presentations.

- Promote bestpractices in project management, ensuring continuous improvement in processesand delivery.

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • - GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
  • - Experience working with General Practice or Primary Care Networks.
  • - Understanding of NHS structures, policies, and commissioning frameworks.

  • - Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet project deadlines and attend key meetings.
  • - The role may involve occasional travel within the Bradford district.

  • - Full UK Driving License and own transport are essential.
