About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager with a background in mechanical contracting—experience in commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems is essential. Experience with ammonia systems or large-scale industrial refrigeration is highly desirable, but not required. The ideal candidate has successfully managed commercial or industrial construction projects involving mechanical trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, and piping systems.

You’ll oversee complex projects ($500K–$4M+), lead field operations, interface directly with clients, and deliver high-quality work across the New England region with limited overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead subcontractors and ensure quality installation practices

Maintain schedules, budgets, and project milestones (Autodesk ACC Build or similar)

Review and manage drawings, submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation

Conduct site visits and collaborate with field teams

Work cross-functionally with internal engineering, estimating, and service teams

Promote safety and mitigate project risks

Mentor junior PMs and contribute to departmental growth

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience managing mechanical contracting projects, including commercial or industrial refrigeration, HVAC, or process systems

Ammonia refrigeration or industrial refrigeration experience is a strong plus

Experience in sectors like food & beverage, pharma, cold storage, commercial or industrial

Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination

Familiar with tools like AutoCAD, Autodesk ACC Build, or Procore

Strong leadership and communication abilities

OSHA 30, Ammonia Safety, or relevant certifications are a bonus

Based in New England with willingness to travel regionally as needed
