Job description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to lead a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP deployment. This role is expected to last 6 months and needs someone comfortable commuting to Devans, MA 2-3 times a week.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in ERP implementation, master data management, documentation control, and delivering projects in a GxP-compliant environment.

This role requires exceptional organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful delivery of the project from planning through go-live and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a D365 ERP deployment within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee master data migration, governance, and validation activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and other regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Help train other team members
• Develop, maintain, and control project documentation including project plans, risk logs, change controls, and status reports.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with ERP vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proven track record of delivering ERP projects, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong knowledge of master data management and ERP data structures.
• Experience working in GxP-regulated environments and familiarity with relevant compliance standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
