Job summary

EG Group in Horwich, near Bolton, is seeking a Project Manager to lead HR, digital, and technology projects across the business. You will own delivery from initiation through to benefits, within a structured governance framework.

You will work with HR, IT and business stakeholders to drive change, manage risks, and ensure adoption of new processes across a global organisation. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex HR or digital transformation projects within large organisations.
• Strong understanding of structured project governance frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP).
• Experience delivering HR-related programmes such as HRIS implementations (e.g. SAP / SuccessFactors).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior leaders across functions.
• Experience managing cross-functional programmes across HR, IT, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of HR and digital projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budget and benefits realization.
• Apply project governance, artefacts and Stage Gate/steering committee processes.
• Manage project plans, resources, risks and dependencies for controlled delivery.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders with clear progress updates on risks and outcomes.
• Drive business readiness, including change management, training and adoption of new processes.
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure delivery against scope, cost and quality.
• Ensure smooth transition to business-as-usual and post-implementation reviews.

About the Role:

EG Group are looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic HR, digital, and technology projects across the business. Operating within the IT Project Delivery Framework, you will take full ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timelines, and budget while realising defined business benefits.

You will play a key role in delivering complex HR transformation initiatives, working closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive change and embed new processes and systems. This role is well suited to an experienced project manager who is confident operating in a structured governance environment and engaging with senior stakeholders across a global organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of HR and digital projects, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, budget, and business objectives.
• Applying project governance frameworks, maintaining key artefacts, and managing Stage Gate and steering committee processes.
• Managing project plans, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure effective and controlled delivery.
• Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Driving business readiness, including change management, training, and adoption of new processes and systems.
• Managing third-party vendors and partners to ensure delivery against agreed scope, cost, and quality expectations.
• Ensuring successful transition to business-as-usual, including benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews.
