Your role:

You'll join us as a Project Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract, managing one or more of our projects in our exciting Transformation agenda.You'll be passionate about quality, delivering right first time - every time, will be a great team player and will have the ability to influence to all levels and across all areas of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

Our project managers are responsible for full end-to-end delivery of projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, including;

  • Understanding scope and ensuring the appropriate project team is mobilised to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Building robust, detailed business cases, including benefits and maintaining tight cost control
  • Ensuring that governance requirements are adhered to (including the effective identification and mitigation of project risks).
  • Developing and maintaining detailed plans, status reports and resource models
  • Building strong relationships with the project sponsor and all other key stakeholders and ensuring timely communication throughout the project including business engagement and readiness for BAU
  • Proven experience of delivering projects in a financial services environment and serving multiple stakeholders
  • Direct responsibilityfor projects with individual budgets ranging from c£1m to £5m
  • Experience managing business-facing projects with strong technical and/or regulatory / legislative components.
  • Appropriate professional qualifications, minimum standard APMP or PRINCE2
  • 28 days annual leave (plus 1 additional “culture day” & bank holidays) – increases to 30 days with 5 years’ service
