First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

1. Managing all aspects and types of projects through the business, from large production lines to small table-top units
2. Meeting overall project objectives for quality, delivery, and cost
3. Managing & resolving key project risks & issues
4. Maintaining a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project & managing the commercial impact of any changes
5. Liaising with internal departments to ensure that projects run smoothly and that technical information is passed on correctly
6. Corresponding with customers and suppliers on technical issues

Skills and Qualifications for the Project Manager:

• An appreciation for project engineering
• Experience managing projects in a technical environment, ideally with extended project life cycles (2 years+)
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry sector, with an understanding of GMP and validation principles (advantageous)
• A systematic approach to work with attention to detail
• Excellent at building & maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders
• Able to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor staff
