Job description

We are hiring!

MJ Allen Metalwork, a specialist in manufacturing and installation of architectural and structural metalwork, are actively recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join their team at their Hothfield site.

About the role.

Essential skills and experience:

* Proven experience in project management within the architectural and structural metalwork industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

* Strong technical knowledge of architectural and structural metalwork processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

* Solid understanding of construction management principles, and industry standards and regulations.

* Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the planning and execution of architectural and metalwork projects, including but not limited to: staircases, balustrades, canopies and bespoke metalwork installations

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications and schedules

* Manage project budgets, resources and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

* Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, resolve any issues or challenges and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations

* Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to provide updates, address concerns and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle

* Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance with industry regulations and standards

* Proactively identify and mitigate risks, conflicts and obstacles that may impact project delivery

* Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and accountability among project teams to drive success and achieve project objectives

Position Details:

* Employment Type: Full-time

* Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year (dependent on experience)
