Job summary

Fifth Ring in Aberdeen, UK, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of client projects and campaigns. You will own scope, planning, resourcing, budgets and risk, acting as the delivery counterpart to the Account Manager.

You will apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methods, secure resources across creative and delivery teams, manage timelines and margins, and drive quality assurance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Established expertise in project management, ideally within an agency.
• Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Proven financial and commercial management of projects.
• Strong resource and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Kantata or similar professional-services automation tools.
• B2B and/or energy-sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of client projects end-to-end: define scope, build plans and schedules, and manage execution to completion.
• Select and apply the appropriate delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) for each project.
• Plan and secure resource across creative and delivery teams, balancing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Manage trafficking and workflow to optimise utilisation and protect deadlines.
• Manage scope and change control to protect margin, and provide timely financial updates to Finance and Client Services.
• Own quality assurance, risk and issue management and change management across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Act as the delivery partner to the Account Manager, ensuring client requirements are met.
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders and support more junior project colleagues.
• Uphold and improve agency delivery standards and defend the agency’s commercial interests.
• The role is accountable for delivering work on time, on budget and to the required standard.
