About the Project team (qual):

Our Project Management team plays a pivotal role in delivering high-impact customer engagements and ensuring the smooth execution of expert network projects. We function as the central link between our customers and experts, managing internal stakeholders, coordinating across functions, and liaising with third-party vendors to meet project timelines and research objectives. We're focused on connecting customers with the most relevant experts efficiently and effectively. We are proactive problem-solvers, skilled communicators, and masters of project coordination, ensuring every project meets expectations around quality, speed, and impact. From bidding and onboarding to project closure and repeat business, we own the entire project lifecycle and contribute directly to the growth of customer accounts.

We are looking for an experienced people manager to step into a team leadership role in our Project Management team for a fixed term maternity cover (c.12 months).

Key responsibilities:

  1. Own a few smaller sized customer relationships and manage their projects end-to-end,from RFQ response and internal recruitment to vendor management and final resolution, as well as ensuring overall account health

  2. Lead an international team of Project Managers,ensuring oversight and health of ~50 accounts (across all our customer types, including corporates and capital markets) owned by your team members through weekly 1:1 meetings and team meetings, as well as keeping the team aligned with company KPIs, and actively drive improvements in processes, team operations, and performance standards

  3. Report directly to the COO and cross functional leadershipkeeping the COO updated proactively, independently resolving conflicts, engaging with third party vendors to help project delivery, collaborating closely with the Quant PM Team Leader, Network Development, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Compliance & Legal, Finance and Tech teams to drive the business forward

  4. Operational Improvement – continuous development and refinement of operational workflows to ensure best in class delivery


Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in project management, customer delivery, preferably with international customers, or operations (ideally in expert networks, consulting, or research)

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with significant experience managing and developing a team in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting

  • Strong customer-facing and commercial acumen as a role model to the team

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Clear, confident communicator across all levels

  • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and across time zones with minimal guidance

  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused
