Job Description

You will join one of the UK’s leading financial services companies, who have built their success by putting people at the heart of their organisation by identifying and delivering products and services that are right for their customers. Due to a recent merger, my client is looking for a PMO to join their Delivery Management team to facilitate and drive the co-ordination of activities across multiple agile teams, ensuring adherence to operational standards. You will support the Strategic Value Case production across a broad scope of programmes and transformation activities across the agile release trains. Due to the size of the project, there is a high chance, the contract will be extended or moved into a permanent role.

Main responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the central PMO team and their Trains/Teams
  • Implement metrics needed to assess progress, including ensuring minimum data quality standards and adherence to the centralised Delivery Framework
  • Ensure continuous adherence to defined governance standards
  • Provide day to day support around risks, dependencies, manage trackers for finances an resources and prep for quarterly PI Planning events

Requirements

  • Strong PMO experience
  • Ability to build relationships, influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Experience with financial and resource management processes
  • Experience using dashboards to analyse and present data
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools
  • Agile and Waterfall experience
