Location: Midlands based (flexible)

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 17:00, Friday, 8:30 – 16:00

Salary: £30,000

Purpose

To support with the oversight and management of the project lifecycle for all Existing Project Development (EPD) and New Product Development (NPD) projects

Your Duties Will Include

  • Project data gathering – ensuring we have the most up to date data and information across all NPD and EPD projects. Identifying any gaps in information and taking necessary steps to resolve
  • Keeping projects on track – oversight of all NPD and EPD projects, helping to keep projects on track and escalating where necessary if off track
  • Project reporting – support with the generation of a weekly project dashboard, cleaning and refreshing data so we can capture and report up to date KPIs
  • Maintaining the Compleat Launch SharePoint – keeping our Complete Launch SharePoint up to date with the latest information and ensuring the site is easy to navigate
  • Championing the Compleat Launch process – making sure the Stage Gate & Project lifecycle process is being utilised to its full potential across the business and delivering training where needed to help upskill key stakeholders. Identifying and sharing areas for improvement

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Project executive/ management experience – 1-2 years’ experience either managing or supporting with the management of EPD/NPD projects.
  • Knowledge of the Stage Gate process and/ or project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable
  • Attention to detail – experience handling large data sets (e.g. excel), with the ability to spot missing information and resolve independently. Advanced excel skills an advantage.
  • Stakeholder management – proven experience of partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, whilst holding them accountable for hitting key deadlines and following a process
  • Problem solving – proactively identifying any issues with live NPD/EPD projects and supporting with implementation of solutions
  • Pace – comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and partnering with teams cross-functionally
