About The Role

The Project Management Assistant provides administrative and business support to the Project Management Team. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget, while keeping clients and stakeholders engaged.

Essential Skills & Education
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English
  • Experience working for an ICP
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Desirable Skills & Education
  • Degree or equivalent, or working at/above Graduate level
  • Project Management qualifications or experience
Key Responsibilities
Paperwork
  • Updating Programmes of Work and informing clients of key date changes
  • Assisting with collating work packs and RAMs, issuing to delivery teams and sites
  • Supporting compilation of completion packs, ensuring timely return of paperwork
  • Proactively requesting as-laids from site and subcontractors
  • Maintaining project logs, progress dashboards, and updating project status
Record Keeping
  • Filing signed RAMS and paperwork
  • Logging additional support activities and variations
  • Tracking material and labor costs
  • Monitoring design approvals and document versions
  • Supporting Reflow tasks post-training
Operational Coordination
  • Supporting labor booking and coordination
  • Ensuring cable drums are collected
  • Supporting DNO/IDNO liaison for POC and audit dates
Communication
  • Supporting site liaison and client updates
  • Assisting with subcontractor communication and customer satisfaction surveys
Procurement
  • Following up on material orders and monitoring switchgear/housing orders
