Overview

Role: Project Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ripley

Salary: £46,400 + Bonus = Up to £49,200

Hours: Monday to Friday - Flex start usually 8.30am to 4.45pm

Contracted hours: 40 per week

Holidays and Benefits: 34 days holiday, Pension up to 7%

Overview and Responsibilities

We now require an additional Project Maintenance Engineer to join the team in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities. You will be working in a technical role managing projects for the site from initial concept through to site installations. You will support capital investment plans, specify technical requirements for new equipment, and align with our long-term asset management life-cycle strategies and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, but these are desirable and not essential as all applications will be considered individually:

• Hands-on engineering background (mechanical/electrical). You may no longer work on the tools, but you should have hands-on experience at some point in your career.
• Track record of delivering projects within a production facility.
• Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and budgets independently.
• Continuous improvement mindset; proactively seeking ways to optimise and innovate.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• People and resource management skills, including the ability to influence and coordinate teams.
• Digital proficiency with MS Office, CMMS, AutoCAD, and project management software.

Commutable from: Alfreton, Heanor, Ilkeston, Clay Cross, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.
