Project Maintenance Engineer
Location: South East UK – COMAH Site

Job Summary:
We're looking for a motivated Project Maintenance Engineer to help upgrade and improve infrastructure on a major UK COMAH site. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the hydrogen and chemical industries, while leading hands-on engineering projects focused on plant safety, reliability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver plant upgrade projects (mechanical/process systems)

• Develop solutions for legacy asset improvement

• Oversee timelines, budgets, and coordination with cross-functional teams

• Support commissioning and training for new systems

• Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments (HAZOP)

• Work toward enhanced plant performance and sustainability

Candidate Requirements:

• HNC/Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

• 2–4 years’ engineering experience in industrial/chemical setting

• Familiarity with compressed gases is a plus

• Strong interest in clean energy and hydrogen industries
