Are you ready to take the lead on large-scale, high-impact automation engineering projects? Our client, a global market leader in intralogistics, are looking for a Project Leader of Engineering to join the UK team and shape the delivery of complex, innovative automation solutions.

? What You’ll Do

As Project Leader Engineering, you will be at the heart of project execution—responsible for coordinating technical delivery, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring quality and safety from concept through to commissioning.

• Leading the planning and execution of engineering projects end-to-end
• Acting as a technical leader and partner, managing both internal and external multidisciplinary teams
• Controlling project budgets, identifying risks and opportunities, and reporting progress
• Managing the technical solution delivery, ensuring quality and performance meet customer requirements
• Driving health & safety compliance and design implementation
• Continuously improving project management processes and supporting best practices across the team

? What They're Looking For

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering
• Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering projects, ideally within material handling, automation, or intralogistics
• Strong technical and commercial acumen, with a structured approach to planning and execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with multidisciplinary team leadership (Electrical/Mechanical/LLC/HLC/Safety)
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with modern project management tools and techniques
