Job Description:

Project Lead / Business Analyst – Banking Client – CSD, CSD regulations, Securities

Duration: 1 year contract (inside of IR35)

Remote working: 1 day in the office.

This role involves supporting a squad within GBS UK Tribe, focusing on providing IT solutions to support UK & International services and other CSDs within the client's group. The team emphasizes close collaboration and delivering maximum value early, with continuous feedback for improvement.

We seek a team member to enhance our business analysis capabilities.

Role

You will be part of a UK Tribe team structured to promote close, collaborative work between business and IT colleagues, aligned with agile principles. The team aims to deliver value promptly and iteratively improve solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Act as the interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Understand business drivers behind initiatives and the value they bring.
• Advise stakeholders and negotiate viable solutions.
• Support system change implementation and deployment.
• Promote best practices and share ideas across the analyst community.
• Develop and validate testing scenarios.
• Execute testing phases and support user acceptance testing.

Your profile

• Knowledge of UK & International services and supporting IT systems.
• Understanding of CSDs, CSD Regulation, and their role as FMIs in post-trade markets.
• Familiarity with securities market standards like SMPG, ISO15022, ISO20022.
• At least 3 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience with methodologies like Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM, SAFE.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis methods, including requirements gathering and user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership, proactivity, and teamwork mindset.

Additional qualifications

• IIBA/BCS Business Analysis Diploma.
• Experience as a Product Owner.
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
• Experience with risk-based testing.
