Job Description & Person Specification >
Torbay is a forward-thinking local authority, recognised for its commitment to delivering high-quality services to children and their families. With an OFSTED 'good' rating in March 2022, we understand the importance of continuous change to ensure we meet the needs of children in our area. To enhance our capabilities, we have established a dedicated Transformation Service focused on embedding new ways of working into service delivery.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Lead to join our dynamic team with the focus on supporting the Children’s Services Transformation Service. In this role, you will work across various areas, managing a number of project workstreams under the transformation umbrella. Collaborating closely with internal and external partners, your strong analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting complex statistical data and project specification information and providing guidance to the Divisional Director and the Transformation Board. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring workstream projects are planned, reviewed and delivered on time and within budget. Demonstrating good knowledge of change and transformation within the context of Children’s Social Care would be an advantage.
To thrive in this role, you should possess excellent analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and hold a degree in a relevant field or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a similar post. If you have the desire to contribute to the continuous enhancement of our transformational journey at Torbay, then we are keen to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of working from the Torquay office each week.
This position is for a fixed term of 12 months from the start date.
