A leading technology firm in Oxford is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a Black belt in Lean Six Sigma, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. At Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology, we provide tools for the engineering of micro- and nano-structures, with customers using our process solutions to research and produce materials and semiconductors vital for everything from medical devices and diagnostics, to electric cars and quantum computers.
This role is key in supporting the delivery of Project Equinox, and Operational Excellence generally, across Plasma Technology. You will be responsible for leading cross functional project teams to achieve successful delivery of improvement projects.
Black belt in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
Project management capabilities. Clarity of forward thinking & contingency planning. Highly computer literate and capable of using software platforms. Goal focussed, innovative & clear thinking under pressure. Able to work on your own initiative, contribute to teams and build effective relationships with other functions in Plasma. Adaptable at managing project uncertainty and risk mitigation. Effective communicator with influencing and negotiating skills.
Shares information and knowledge to improve own and others contribution to the business. Takes responsibility for your work, and continually seek to improve the level of customer satisfaction, internally and externally. Highly committed team player who positively contributes to the team to achieve departmental & company goals. Flexible, co-operative and able to adapt to change. Punctual and self-disciplined.
