Leonardo UK is hiring a Project Lead/Manager to join the Lincoln-based team with some Home-Based and on-site work. The role involves leading project activities, managing schedules, budgets, and IP considerations, and coordinating with risk and bidding teams.

Some international travel may be required. You will work within our Fast Jet Integrated Project Team, contributing to planning, execution, and revenue forecasting while maintaining a strong focus on contract compliance and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects in aerospace/defence environments.
• Ability to define high level schedules and budgets.
• Familiarity with WBS, OBS, and Statements of Work.

The role may be a mixture of home based and onsite working. Domestic and international Long Haul travel may be required.We are actively recruiting for a Project Lead/Manager who will work within our Fast Jet Integrated Project Team in Lincoln.**What you'll bring**Initiatives typically managed by Project Lead/Manager are:* Support Risk Managers to identify contract risks* Analyze clients requirements during the bidding phase* Evaluate the contract requirements to evaluate technical and economical feasibility* Support the IP manager in evaluating and defining the strategy for the management of the IP assets generated during the projects, including their eligibility for Tax rebate program (i.e. Patent Box)* Define the High Level schedule based on contractual milestone* Define the High Level budget based on contractual requirements* Manage the advance provision activities to start purchasing processes in advance of the contract effective date (if needed)* Identify the initiative cluster, based on Leonardo internal procedure* Request to create the Project/Program WBS* Organize the first project meeting to start the activities* Define the WBS structure, OBS and identification of the SoW to engage functions* Define the forecasting configuration for items without contract associated* Manage the advance provision activities to start purchasing processes in advance of the contract effective date* Define the revenues plan and perform the creation into the company tool* Support the analysis of contractual requirements* Define the product configuration* Support the definition of the Integrated Project Schedule* Support the definition of the time-phased (cost planning) resources/material allocation and associated costsThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above.
