Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to energize HVDC projects in Glasgow. You will coordinate global project teams, interact with stakeholders, and act as the main technical contact for queries, delivering projects with responsibility and independence.

We welcome both junior and senior engineers and offer tools and support for growth, with English fluency required and visa not provided for this position.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Serve as the primary contact for technical matters with customers.
• Ensure complete and multidisciplinary information in engineering development.

• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

Your Background:

• Academic degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or similar).
• 5+ years of experience in a similar lead role.
• Experience with HVDC technology is a plus.
• Power industry experience or similar a must.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take a leading role and deliver quality results.
• Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing; other languages are an advantage.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the UK.
