Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby seeks a Project Lead for the Core Production Programme Team. You will deliver defined work packages, govern project artefacts, and report status and KPIs for large-scale, long-term programmes in a high-regulation environment.

You will lead Integrated Project Teams, liaise with stakeholders, and implement robust controls and risk management. APM PM qualifications or equivalent and cross-functional delivery experience are highly valued.

Competenze

• Equivalent industry experience preferable or degree level qualification.
• Experience of leading an Integrated Project Team within engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong background in Project Management and delivering in cross functional teams.
• APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent; or demonstrated PM knowledge.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office; SAP and P6 preferable.

Project Lead, Core Production Programme Team - Submarines

Working Pattern - Full Time / Permanent

Location - Derby

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Delivery Professional – Core Production Programme to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. The role will be working on a high-profile, long-term and demanding programme of work.

What you will be doing:

• You’ll be accountable for the successful delivery of defined work packages.
• Facilitate and govern project management documents and artefacts.
• Report the status of assigned work in accordance with the requirements of the project.
• Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
• Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
• Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
• Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
• Facilitate and manage risk and opportunity activities.

• Equivalent industry experience preferable or Degree level qualification.

• Strong background in Project Management.
• Attained APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent; or can demonstrate equivalent PM knowledge.
• Demonstrate good experience of working & delivering in cross functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience of SAP and P6 preferable.
• Team player with an ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
