The role involves orchestrating and managing critical mechanical isolations, authoritatively controlling activities, ensuring safety and efficiency, and playing a pivotal role in project execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the authoritative Authorised Person for critical mechanical isolations.
- Championing safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
- Participating in project management meetings to ensure alignment.
- Overseeing installation and removal of systems for seamless operation.
- Collaborating with clients to provide data and insights for decision-making.
- Coordinating project works with Business As Usual activities.
- Creating reports to deliver insights and drive excellence.
- Identifying issues and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assisting in critical shutdown preparations and executions.
Essential skills and experience:
- Deep understanding of critical environments and life-safe infrastructure.
- Experience managing critical isolations as an Authorised Person.
- Technical knowledge of building services such as UPS, PLCs, cooling, and water treatment.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Collaborative spirit:
- Working closely with project teams to ensure standards and site rules are met.
- Maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Qualifications needed:
- Proven experience managing critical environments and infrastructure.
- Authorised Person certification for mechanical systems.
