Job summary

First Recruitment Group seeks a Project HSE Manager to report to the Client's QHSE Manager and the Project Director, ensuring development and improvement of the Project HSE Management System throughout EPIC phases and coordinating HSE activities on design and site works.

Responsibilities include leading the HSE team, interfacing with Clients, implementing CDM regulations, establishing monitoring/audit programs, and driving risk management processes such as HAZOP/HAZID, subcontractor HSE

Qualifications

• 3+ years as HSE manager and 10+ years in HSE activities, preferably with IOGP standards.
• NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
• Tech IOSH or above and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the EPIC phases per guidelines.
• Act as HSE focal point for the Project and manage all HSE issues.
• Interface with Clients and administer HSE section of the Contract.
• Develop and coordinate the HSE team.
• Provide HSE support and advice to Project Management.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and UK Legislation.
• Interface and support environmental management team.
• Establish and implement HSE monitoring and audit program.
• Lead Risk Management processes (HAZOP, HAZID, RAM, Risk Assessment).
• Subcontractor HSE Management.
• Promote periodic Project HSE Review and close out report.

Initially 18 Months Outside IR35

Hybrid:

3 days office, 2 days home

Purpose of the position

As Project HSE Manager you will report to the Clients QHSE Manager as well as the Project Director. You will ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC) of the project. You will Plan and coordinate the activities of all HSE personnel working both in design and on sites.

You will define criteria and references for developing project HSE plans and for undertaking specific studies and global analysis evaluating plant/platform performance in normal operating and upset conditions.

• Ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC) of the project according to the Clients, Company, IOGP and ISO HSE guidelines and standards
• Act as HSE focal point for the Project and ensure the management of all the HSE issues for the Project
• Interface with Clients and administer HSE section of the Contract
• Develop and coordinate the HSE team
• Provide HSE support and advice to Project Management
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and UK Legislation
• Interface and support environmental management team
• Establish and implement HSE monitoring and audit program
• Lead Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.)
• Subcontractor HSE Management
• Promote periodical Project HSE Review and ensure proper Project HSE Close out report

What are we looking for?

• Experience: 3+ years as HSE manager and 10+ years within HSE activities, preferably with IOGP standards
• Education: NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Preferably Tech IOSH or above as well as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
