Job Title: Project Handover Coordinator

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: O&M, Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

What You’ll be doing:

With a busy project delivery programme ahead, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Through Life Support Coordinator to join our Service Delivery Team. You will support the successful delivery of projects and their smooth transition into service. Working with the Project Handover Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that Service Delivery supports the process for the delivery of projects through design, construction, and handover phases. You will ensure all Service Delivery stakeholders are appropriately engaged throughout the project and have access to all necessary information and resources to operate and maintain new assets once they enter service.

You’ll also manage and oversee defect remedial works during the project defect liability period. Supporting the smooth transition of projects from construction to service, you will ensure Service Delivery has details of asset warranties and contact information for warranty issues. Additionally, you will ensure any changes in operating or maintenance costs are captured and communicated to the KBS Commercial Team.

You’ll Have:

• Experience working in an engineering environment, with insight or knowledge of managing the operation and maintenance of buildings in an industrial setting.
• Numeracy skills and experience in preparing cost information.
• Willingness to obtain recognized H&S qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or SMSTS.
• Competence in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
