Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Project Geologist to join our growing ground engineering team. The role involves managing ground investigation projects from planning through to completion, and taking ownership of site-based and office-based activities.

You will log soils and rocks to relevant standards, prepare factual and interpretative reports, and liaise with clients and stakeholders. A degree in Geology or related field and UK driving licence are required; chartership

Qualifications

• A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.
• Experience in ground investigation and site work.
• Good understanding of soil and rock logging and geotechnical reporting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Working towards chartership, or an interest in professional development, would be advantageous.

An established and growing ground engineering consultancy is looking for a Project Geologist to join its team in Cambridge.

This is a great opportunity for a geologist looking to develop their technical experience and take ownership of a range of ground investigation projects, working across both site-based and office-based activities.
