Thinking Search is seeking a Project Finance Associate to join a leading international law firm with a renowned finance practice in London. You will work on diverse, high-value financing transactions for domestic and international clients and collaborate with experienced partners to progress matters and develop client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with experience in Banking & Finance or Project Finance.
• Experience advising on complex financing transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
• Commercially focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Collaborative approach with ambition to develop in a leading international practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of structured and project financing transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate financing and ancillary documentation.
• Support transactions from initial structuring through to completion.
• Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Advise clients on commercial and legal risk throughout the lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise and support junior lawyers where appropriate.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives.

You'll work on a broad range of complex financing transactions, advising domestic and international clients on sophisticated, high-value matters across a variety of sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on market-leading transactions while developing strong client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for your own matters.

Role

• Advise on a broad range of structured and project financing transactions
• Draft, review and negotiate financing and ancillary documentation
• Support transactions from initial structuring through to completion
• Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Advise clients on commercial and legal risk throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Supervise and support junior lawyers where appropriate
• Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with experience gained within a recognised Banking & Finance or Project Finance practice
• Experience advising on complex financing transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills
• Commercially focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and working with multiple stakeholders

Hybrid working and salary up to £150,000 plus benefits and bonus
