Estimating Manager - Warwick, Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Director of Rail, the Estimating Manager will ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates for new projects, collaborating closely with project management and engineering teams. This hybrid role requires occasional presence at our Warwick Head Office.

What you’ll do:

• Support the production and submission of accurate, comprehensive estimates for projects.
• Manage the estimating process at bid, project, or scheme level.
• Challenge cost estimates produced by SMEs in Delivery and Engineering.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Minimize costs and response times using standard processes and pricing tools.
• Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on project plans and schedules.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information.

Who you are:

Proven experience in a similar estimating role with strong cost modelling and analysis skills. Expert in Excel, with excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
