Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Building Services/M&E Project Engineer for a railway sector role in Yorkshire. This position involves supporting design assurance for Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC systems on depot projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in M&E engineering within the UK railway environment and expertise in systems design. The contract is initial for 6 months with a negotiable rate depending on experience.

Overview

Contract Opportunity: Building Services/M&E Project Engineer – Railway Sector (Yorkshire)

Currently seeking an experienced Building Services/M&E Project Engineer with a strong background in railway infrastructure to support Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems design assurance for railway depot projects across the Yorkshire region.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in Building Services or M&E engineering within a UK railway environment
• Expertise in Mechanical and HVAC systems design and assurance
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Contract Details

• Duration: Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension
• Rate: Negotiable dependant on experience (Inside IR35)
• Location: Yorkshire-based projects
