Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Project Engineering Technologist to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract up until 30^th January 2026.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £30.07 per hour.

Job Description:

Technologists apply engineering principles in the implementation of products, systems, and processes. Unlike Engineers, who focus on research and conceptual design, Technologists are involved in practical application and implementation. Some countries may require Technologists to have formal certification, registration, or a Technologist Degree.

Professional Technicians typically hold a Technical Degree, and some may have a combination of education and experience. Para-Professional Technicians are responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting and may not have formal certifications but possess relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for project engineering activities.
• Assist in preparing design documents, project controls, specifications, schedules, and oversee production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
• Review and verify project progress for invoicing or payments.
• Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
• Coach and review the work of junior professionals.
• Address complex and challenging problems.
