Lead Engineering Excellence – Shape the Future of Defence Projects

The role

As a Project Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring engineering governance, compliance and assurance across a range of defence-related operations. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll guide engineering activity across multiple projects, helping to deliver safe, effective and innovative solutions.

Day-to-day you’ll be
  • Applying engineering assurance to technical activities across multiple projects
  • Developing and maintaining Engineering Management Plans
  • Supporting the management of technical risk and governance processes
  • Creating engineering documentation to support operational delivery
  • Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to drive efficiency and innovation

The role is based onsite at Andover, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week. Travel may be required as part of the role.

  • Experience deploying engineering governance into complex projects and programmes
  • Excellent planning, coordination and organisational skills

Qualifications for the Project Engineering Manager
  • Suitable experience in a relevant engineering field
  • On the pathway to Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised engineering institute

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
