  • Build strong alliances: Cultivate trusted relationships with colleagues and customers alike to ensure seamless capability delivery.
  • Drive smart change: Challenge and streamline development and delivery processes while maintaining full compliance with the Company’s legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Communicate with clarity: Maintain open, effective communication across the Engineering IPT, working closely with the IPT Lead, Project Managers, and engineering functional heads.
  • Own technical oversight: Collaborate with the Systems Design Authority to monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver robust solutions: Ensure designs meet end-user requirements, are fully documented, reliable, and fit for operational environments.
  • Maximise reuse: Control configuration and change management to optimise design reuse and efficiency.
  • Champion innovation: Capture and evaluate candidate concept solutions, including trade-off studies and user engagement insights.

What we need from you:

  • Effective schedule and budget management.
  • Excellent communication - both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Strong leadership and team-working.
  • Good understanding of engineering lifecycles and business process.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and potentially overseas.

It would be nice if you had experience of:

  • Understanding of Electronic Warfare Operational Support.
  • Knowledge in Training and Mission Data development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Requirements elicitation and defining software products.
  • Engineering or scientific Degree qualification (or equivalent).
